The Pestana Royal Hotel provides a wide choice of quality facilities in addition to the nicely decorated rooms and public areas. Guests can enjoy two outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor solarium, and a spa with an indoor pool, a gym, and three treatment rooms where they can arrange treatments and massages throughout their stay. Younger guests can enjoy the playground or the kids club, while adults can enjoy billiards, mini golf, or the tennis court. Sports, quizzes, classical music at the outdoor pool, chess, and pool games are also provided by the animation team throughout the day for people of all ages and tastes.

Food and Drink

Sao Lourenco Restaurant presents the best of Portuguese cuisine with Mediterranean flavours, along with theme nights with Madeiran, Italian, tropical, and oriental cuisine. Live entertainment is provided at Primavera Cocktail Bar, which offers fine wine, a colourful cocktail, or a refreshing beer. The Sunset Bar is located around the main swimming pool and offers a variety of light snacks.

All Inclusive Option

The buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you stay between 4 and 6 nights, you will receive one visit to one of the themed restaurants, and if you stay for 7 nights or more, you will receive two visits. Reservations are required in advance. Snacks at fixed times. Select local-brand alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea, and coffee.

This hotel features 294 rooms and 30 suites, all of which are nicely equipped with custom-made traditional furniture and fabrics. Bathrooms with bath or walking shower, hairdryer, digital safety deposit box, minibar, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, slippers, and toiletries such as body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and soap are provided in each room.
